This estate was acquired in 1924 from the Salesian Brothers of Don Bosco by Pierre and Maria Damiano, the great-grandparents of Philippe, who is part of the fourth generation. Initially used for market gardening, the land was gradually converted into vineyards. The ruins of the first cellar are still on the property.

Chateau Croix d’Allons covers nearly 10 hectares. The land is all located on rare and very ancient Triassic geological formations (limestone, dolomite, gypsum, and cargneule), giving the vines their exceptional character. The estate has old vines planted in 1922, then in 1952-1960, and finally over the last fifteen years, resulting in a first harvest in 2019. These plots are home to the favourite grape variety of Bandol wines: Mourvèdre, which accounts for 70% of the planted area.

Philippe and Florence have chosen to offer a single Bandol AOP cuvée per vintage and per colour. In 2017, they also decided to apply for organic certification for their sustainable farming practices, which was finally granted by ECOCERT in August 2020.
